David was born in North Carolina and began his sound career at age 9 and later lived in California and Tampa, Florida. In Middle and High School, David was a stage hand for School productions and this sparked a life long love of music. He soon moved to assisting productions by hanging speakers and lights over the stage.

The youth group at Bayshore Baptist Church in Tampa opened the door of opportunity. It was there that his love of sound came to life. At age 13 he began operating the sound equipment at the church. Soon after that, the church group went on tour for Summer productions.  At this point, David replaced the outgoing sound and lighting crew because of his extensive hands on experience and his ear for sound.

While attending Jefferson High School, David worked as the sound and lighting operator for all of the school productions. Through this effort, the School achieved first place for four consecutive years in theatrical productions competing against other local High Schools.

In the fall of 1978 David was employed by Busch Gardens in Tampa as a stage hand and soon moved on to sound and lighting technician. This experience allowed David to appreciate quality equipment and helped him acquire an attitude of professionalism. He became one of the leading sound and lighting technicians for Busch Gardens.

David currently lives in La Crosse, Va.  and he is a master electrician and owner of Electrical Modifications Inc. for 20 years. He has been married to his wife Pam for 26 years and the father of 2 sons.
